About Grape Agate
Grape agate is botryoidal chalcedony, colored purple by trace iron, from the Batu Manakarra area of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Despite the name it is not true agate, because it lacks agate banding. Its colors range from deep purple and lavender to lilac, and some pieces carry a sparkly druzy coat.
Stone Meaning: Grape agate is traditionally associated with calm and intuition.
