Labradorite seems plain gray until you tilt it. Then flashes of blue, green and gold appear across the surface, and these semi polished slabs are cut to show off that flash.

Keep one on your desk to tilt in the light during a break, use it in wire wrapping or a crystal grid, or add it to a collection. They make easy gifts for friends, and choosing the exact slab means you can pick the flash color you like best.

Each lettered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Slabs are about 1.1 to 2.1 inches wide, 1.75 to 3 inches long and 0.25 to 0.625 inches thick, weighing 30 to 70 grams. Flash shows best under a single light source.

About Labradorite

Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar. Its flashes of color, called labradorescence, come from light reflecting off internal layers. It was described from Labrador, Canada, in 1770 and also comes from Finland and Madagascar. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5.

Stone Meaning: Labradorite is traditionally associated with intuition and transformation.
