Soft white with fine gray veins, howlite brings a clean, marbled look to bowls, vases and craft projects.
Fill a small dish or glass jar for display, use them as vase filler under fresh flowers, wire wrap a few into simple pendants, or spread them in a crystal grid. A half pound bag gives plenty for a project or for sharing among friends.
Each bag weighs about 230 grams. The stones are about 0.5 by 0.4 by 0.2 inches, and size, veining and shade vary from stone to stone.
Howlite is a naturally white calcium borosilicate with fine gray or black web-like veins. It is porous and fairly soft, which is why it is often dyed to imitate other stones. These are undyed white.
Stone Meaning: Howlite is traditionally associated with patience and calm.
