White Howlite Aura Crystal Obelisk Tower - One of a Kind, 9.75 In #2

Walk past this white howlite obelisk and the color shifts, thanks to a platinum coating that lays an iridescent rainbow sheen over the stone.

Underneath the coating is howlite, a naturally white mineral with fine gray veins, and the aura finish lets that pattern show through while adding color that changes with the light. It was carved and polished into an obelisk by crystal artisans in Brazil. At about 9.75 inches tall, it has the height to anchor a shelf, a desk or an altar. The coating is a man made surface treatment, not the natural color of howlite, and we disclose it so you know exactly what you are buying. It makes a memorable gift for someone who loves iridescent decor, a housewarming or a crystal collector. This is the exact obelisk shown.

The obelisk is about 9.75 by 2.25 by 1.875 inches. Look at the ruler photo and the in hand photo for scale.

About Howlite Aura

Howlite is a calcium borosilicate mineral, naturally white with fine gray or black web shaped veins, and soft at about 3.5 on the Mohs scale. Aura finishes are made by vapor deposition, which bonds a metal film only a micron or two thick to the stone in a vacuum chamber, and the thin film creates the iridescent color.

Stone Meaning: Howlite is traditionally associated with patience and calm.
