About Trolleite

Trolleite is an aluminum phosphate mineral, light blue to light green, first described from the Vastana mine in Skane, Sweden, and named for the Swedish chemist Hans Gabriel Trolle-Wachtmeister. Lazulite, often found with it, is an azure to sky blue phosphate that is easily confused with lapis lazuli but is chemically different.
