Trolleite is an aluminum phosphate mineral. The blue stone sold as trolleite, much of it from Brazil, is a natural mix of trolleite with quartz and blue lazulite, a magnesium iron aluminum phosphate. Lazulite is often confused with lapis lazuli, lazurite and azurite, but it is a different mineral.
