Cat people, this tiny companion was made for you. Each little soapstone cat is hand carved by artisans in Peru, sitting upright with bright blue eyes.

Set one on a windowsill, desk or bookshelf, pair it with a sympathy card for someone missing a pet, or give a pair to a friend who has two cats at home. It is easy to collect both colors, and a tiny cat fits in places a larger figurine never could.

Each cat is about 1.375 inches tall, 1 inch wide and 0.5 inches deep, weighing about 10 grams. Choose red or tan soapstone. This is a stock photo, so carving details and color vary.

About Soapstone

Soapstone is a metamorphic rock made mainly of talc, which rates 1 on the Mohs scale. It is soft, smooth and easy to carve, which is why artisans around the world have used it for figurines for thousands of years.
