Tiny crystals, big sparkle. These small free form druzy cabochons are natural Brazilian stones with a surface of glittering microcrystals, cut in organic, irregular shapes rather than perfect ovals.
Their small size makes them a favorite for earrings, stacking rings and delicate pendants, and the natural outlines suit boho and handmade designs. Buy a single stone to try, or choose 5 or 10 for a matching set or a batch of pieces. If you have a preference for certain colors or shapes, send us a note and we will do our best.
Druzy, also spelled drusy, is a coating of very fine crystals that forms on a rock surface or inside a cavity. Most druzy cabochons are quartz or chalcedony crystals growing on agate, which puts them around 6 to 7 on the Mohs scale. The sparkle comes from light hitting hundreds of tiny crystal faces.
What is the difference between druzy and drusy? They are the same thing: two spellings for a surface covered in tiny natural crystals.
Can I request specific colors? Yes, message us with your preference and we will try to fill it from stock.
