Raw pistachio green epidote brings an earthy green note to a mineral collection or crystal grid.
Add one to a mineral collection, set a few in a crystal grid or dish, wrap a piece in wire for a rugged pendant, or give a small set to someone starting out with stones. Five pieces let you compare the range of green tones from stone to stone.
Each stone measures about 21 to 44 by 12 to 22 millimeters. Shape, size and color vary, and some pieces may show quartz alongside the epidote.
Epidote is a calcium aluminum iron silicate, typically yellowish to pistachio green, with a hardness of about 6 to 7. It often grows together with quartz.
Stone Meaning: Epidote is traditionally associated with growth and renewal.
