You get both of these pink agate slices, each one with a sparkling druzy center.
Agate slices are cut straight through the stone, so you see the full ring of banding around the crystal pocket. Hold one up to a window and the light comes through the pink bands. They are small enough to use as coasters for a mug or a candle jar, to prop on a plate stand, or to lay on a tray as a pair. Keep the pair together or split them between two friends.
Agate is a banded, translucent variety of microcrystalline quartz, and its bands form as silica is deposited in layers inside a rock cavity. Slicing a nodule shows the rings in cross section, sometimes around a druzy crystal center. Agate is porous, which is why most vividly colored agate in the trade is dyed.
Stone Meaning: Agate is traditionally associated with balance and stability.
