Peach Apophyllite with Stilbite Zeolite Cluster - One of a Kind, 4.5 In

Fans of warm toned crystals will want to look closely at this peach apophyllite cluster.

This cluster is wide and fairly flat, so it shows a broad face of crystals when it lies on a shelf or leans on a small stand. Stilbite grows in among the apophyllite, adding fine textured bundles beside the larger glassy points, and the up close photo shows the two together. At this mid size it is easy to place on a bookcase, a dresser or a glass shelf with a light behind it. A good choice for someone who likes soft, warm colors more than the cool purples and blues of most crystal shelves.

About Apophyllite and Stilbite

Apophyllite is a sheet silicate known for glassy, pyramid tipped crystals, and it often grows alongside stilbite, a true zeolite that forms sheaf or bow tie shaped bundles of thin crystals. Both develop in gas pockets inside basalt. The Deccan Traps of India are famous for this pairing, with pale green apophyllite and salmon pink stilbite found together near Mumbai and Pune.

Stone Meaning: Apophyllite is traditionally associated with clarity and spiritual growth.
