Each nautilus fossil is polished to a glossy shine, bringing out its natural colors and unique features. Choose 0 to 50 grams, 50 to 100 grams, 100 to 200 grams or 200 to 300 grams.
Display it on a shelf or desk, add it to a fossil collection, or use it in jewelry, mosaics and art. It makes a fascinating gift for science lovers and collectors. The photos show each weight range in hand.
Each fossil is unique, with its own color variation and features. Keep it dry and dust it with a soft cloth to protect the polish, and set it on a small stand or dish if you want it upright.
Nautiluses are the only living members of the subclass Nautiloidea and are often called living fossils. Their shells are divided into chambers by walls called septa, linked by a tube called the siphuncle that controls buoyancy, and the nautilus family dates back to the Late Triassic.
