A thin, shimmering slice of muscovite mica forms this window pendant, about 20 by 51 millimeters to 40 by 90 millimeters including the silver toned bail.
Hang it on your favorite chain or cord; one photo shows it on a silver chain. It makes an unusual gift for mineral lovers.
Mica is soft and splits into thin sheets, so handle it gently, keep it dry and store it flat. Each pendant varies in size, color and layering. Chain not included.
Muscovite is the most common mica, a potassium aluminum silicate. Its perfect cleavage lets it peel into very thin, flexible sheets with a pearly to silky luster.
Stone Meaning: Muscovite is traditionally associated with problem solving and clarity.
