A round block of natural Himalayan rock salt, about 8 inches across and 11 pounds, glows in warm orange and peach tones when lit. A Sun and Moon wood cut out design on the front adds a celestial touch.

This lamp is sold as is because the Sun and Moon piece was mounted upside down, which makes the moon's face look more abstract. It still gives the same cozy glow for a bedroom, living room or reading nook. US orders include a standard Type A plug; international orders ship without the light and cord.

About Himalayan Salt

Himalayan salt lamps are carved from halite, natural rock salt. Pink and orange tones come from mineral impurities, and the Khewra mine in Pakistan is a famous source. Salt is soft and dissolves in water, so keep the lamp away from humid rooms and wipe off any moisture with a dry cloth.
