Howlite starts out white with fine gray veining, and this horn pendant comes either in that natural white or in a turquoise colored version.

The slim horn shape is finished with an electroplated silver cap and bail that hold it on a sterling silver chain. White reads soft and minimal against dark clothing; the turquoise option brings a Southwestern look and pairs well with denim. Either one is an easy everyday pendant that layers well with shorter chains. Because each pendant is cut from natural stone, the veining on yours will be its own.

Howlite is a calcium borosilicate mineral, naturally white with fine gray or black web like veins. It is porous and takes dye easily, which is why so much turquoise colored howlite is sold as a turquoise lookalike; the color sits in the stone while the veining pattern stays visible.
