Fuchsite Free Form Crystal Cut Base - Pick Your Exact Piece, 6-8 Inch

These green fuchsite free forms shimmer softly, stand upright on flat cut bases and catch the light from every side.

Fuchsite is mica colored green by chromium, so the sparkle you see comes from countless tiny mica flakes rather than any coating. Both pieces are slim slabs that stand upright as small sculptures on a shelf, mantel, altar or desk. Free form 01 is about 6.25 inches wide, and free form 02 is the wider of the two at about 8.125 inches, so you can choose the size that fits your space. They make a thoughtful gift for a gardener, a housewarming or anyone who loves green stones. You choose the exact piece from the photos.

Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Free form 01 is about 6.25 by 4.75 by 1.375 inches; free form 02 is about 8.125 by 5 by 1.25 inches. Fuchsite is soft, so the care note below explains how to keep it looking its best.

About Fuchsite

Fuchsite is a chromium rich variety of muscovite mica, sometimes called chrome mica. The chromium gives it its green color and sparkle. It is very soft, about 2 to 2.5 on the Mohs scale, so it is a decorative stone rather than a hard wearing one.

Stone Meaning: Fuchsite is traditionally associated with compassion and renewal.
