Extra Large Amethyst Stalactite Pendant - Gunmetal Edge

A large slice of amethyst stalactite shows its rings of purple crystal, framed with an electroplated gunmetal edge. Each pendant measures about 47 to 78 millimeters by 40 to 60 millimeters.

Hang it on a long chain or leather cord for a bold statement piece, or display it as a small specimen. The dark edge makes the purple stand out.

Keep it out of strong sunlight for long periods to protect the purple, and remove it before swimming to protect the plating. Each slice varies in color, size and shape. Chain not included.

About Amethyst Stalactites

Amethyst stalactites form inside geodes in volcanic basalt and are well known from mines near Artigas, Uruguay. Slicing one shows banding of chalcedony and amethyst around the core, like tree rings.
