Crackle Quartz Semi Polished Point - Crystal Quartz, 3.5 In

Hold crackle quartz up to a window and the inside lights up with hundreds of tiny fractures.

That frosted, glittering interior is the whole point of crackle quartz, and the close up photo shows how much of it runs through this piece. It is semi polished, so the surface feels smooth while the crackle stays visible underneath. Chunky rather than slender, it sits comfortably on a windowsill or a lamp table where light can pass through. A good pick for someone who likes clear quartz but wants more sparkle.

About Crackle Quartz

Crackle quartz is clear quartz that has been heated and then plunged into cold water, which creates a web of internal fractures. Those fractures scatter light, giving the frosted, glittering look sometimes called fire and ice quartz. The stone underneath is ordinary quartz, which is hard and resistant to weathering.

Stone Meaning: Clear quartz is traditionally associated with clarity and focus.
