A full pound of small Chinese turquoise chips, each about 5 to 15 millimeters, with every chip showing its own color.

Use them for wire wrapping, inlay and resin projects, beading, mosaics and crafts, or scatter them in plant pots and bowls. A pound gives you plenty for several projects. Small chips are often used as inlay filler for wood, resin and ring channels, where they are set in epoxy and sanded smooth.

About Turquoise

Turquoise is a hydrous copper aluminum phosphate with a Mohs hardness of 5 to 6, colored blue to green by copper. China produces turquoise in Hubei province. Common treatments include waxing, stabilization and dyeing.
