Blue Fluorite Crystal Cluster - One of a Kind, Mini 1.25 In, 10 g #3

Thumbnail collectors, this tiny blue fluorite is for you.

It is a slender little cluster from China about 1.25 inches long and only 10 grams. Small specimens like this are made for thumbnail boxes, gem jars, shadow boxes and miniature collections, where a lot of color in a small space is the whole point. Blue is an unusual color for fluorite, which more often turns up purple, green or yellow. A styled photo helps you picture it on display. The tiny cluster pictured is the exact one you will get.

Expect a piece about 1.25 by 0.5 by 0.5 inches, weighing about 10 grams. The photo with a ruler shows how small it is.

About Blue Fluorite

Fluorite is calcium fluoride, the mineral that defines hardness 4 on the Mohs scale. It is best known in purple, green and yellow, but it also occurs in blue and colorless forms. It splits cleanly along four cleavage directions, and many specimens glow blue violet under UV light.

Stone Meaning: Fluorite is traditionally associated with focus and clarity.
