Black tourmaline is polished smooth into a pendulum-shaped point that tapers to a tip. Each one measures about 20 to 41 millimeters by 22 to 47 millimeters.
These points have no chain, so they are ready for your own crafts: add a bail and chain to make a pendulum or necklace, wire wrap one, or set it in a crystal grid.
Each point varies slightly in size and finish; the quarter photo shows the scale.
Black tourmaline, called schorl, is the most common member of the tourmaline group of boron silicate minerals.
Stone Meaning: Black tourmaline is traditionally associated with protection and grounding.
