Few necklaces make an entrance like these two, each built around a large Baltic amber flower and strung with amber beads in shades from light to dark.
These are true wearable art, the kind of necklace that gets noticed across a room and becomes an heirloom. Necklace A has a golden flower and a single bead and hoop closure. Necklace B has a multicolored flower and is sold as is because the last amber hoop bead in its closure has a small chip, shown in the final photo. Either makes a memorable gift for a milestone anniversary or a collector of amber. You choose the exact necklace.
Each lettered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Both are 24 inches long. Flower A is about 3.25 inches across and flower B about 3.5 inches. The flower is held together with a crochet patch on the back.
Baltic amber is fossilized tree resin from the Baltic region, which holds the largest known amber deposits. It is generally dated to the Eocene, roughly 35 to 47 million years ago. Amber is light and warm to the touch, and soft, at about 2 to 2.5 on the Mohs scale.
Stone Meaning: Amber is traditionally associated with warmth and comfort.
