Amethyst Jasper Semi Polished Slab on Stand - One of a Kind, 20 x 20 In

Square pieces are easy to place, and this amethyst with jasper slab is about as square as natural stone gets.

It measures 20 inches each way, so it looks balanced on a coffee table, a square plinth or the center of a sideboard. It is semi polished: smooth, polished areas sit beside natural amethyst crystal and jasper. Purple quartz and opaque jasper together give it a more layered look than amethyst alone. The metal stand holds it upright. If you are shopping for a February birthday, an anniversary or a new home, this is a gift that will stay on display for years. You get this exact slab.

This one is about 20 by 20 by 8.5 inches.

About Amethyst and Jasper

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, colored by trace iron exposed to natural radiation, and it is the modern birthstone for February. Jasper is an opaque, fine grained variety of silica whose red and brown tones come from iron. In Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and neighboring Artigas, Uruguay, amethyst forms in large geodes within volcanic rock.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
