Lavender druzy at the tip, smooth polished agate below: this point has a gentle color that suits rooms where bold purple would shout.
It was hand cut and polished in our facilities in Brazil and then dyed light purple. The cut base keeps it upright, and the photo of the tip shows the druzy close up. It stands well on a vanity, a reading table or a home office shelf, and it suits someone who likes lilac and soft pastels more than deep jewel tones.
Agate is a banded, translucent form of microcrystalline quartz. Because it is porous, most vividly colored agate in the trade is dyed, and the dye soaks into the bands at different rates, which is why the color follows the stone's natural pattern. The stone underneath is the same hard, durable quartz.
Stone Meaning: Agate is traditionally associated with balance and stability.
