Nice dark brown smoky quartz fills this half pound bag, with a mix of polished points and freeform tumbled shapes. Each bag holds about 4 to 20 pieces, from about 0.5 to 3.5 inches.

Use them in crystal grids, keep a few in your pocket, fill a dish on your altar, or share them as gifts. The mix of points and tumbled stones gives you variety in one bag.

Smoky quartz is brown to gray quartz with a Mohs hardness of 7, colored by natural radiation acting on trace aluminum. Brazil supplies most commercial smoky quartz, and it is the national gemstone of Scotland, where it is called cairngorm.
