Amphibole Quartz Tumbled Slabs - 1/2 lb Bag

Soft, cloudy inclusions drift through the quartz in this half pound bag of tumbled amphibole quartz slabs. Pieces range from about 15 to 60 millimeters.

Wire wrap the smaller slabs into pendants, fill a bowl or dish, add them to an altar, or share them as gifts. The flat tumbled shape makes them easy to wrap and comfortable to hold, and the hand photo shows the size range. A half pound bag gives you a nice variety of sizes for several projects.

Quartz is hard and durable. Each slab is natural, so size, shape and inclusions vary. The bowl in the photos is not included. Hold a slab up to a window to see the inclusions more clearly.

About Amphibole Quartz

Amphibole quartz is quartz with inclusions of amphibole minerals such as hornblende, actinolite and tremolite. It has a Mohs hardness of 7, and Brazil is its main commercial source.
