Point-22(under-100g)
Glossy black tourmaline flecked with pale feldspar is polished into a point on top while the lower half stays raw and natural. A flat cut base lets it stand on its own on a shelf, desk or windowsill.
Choose from six weights, from a small piece under 100 grams to a substantial 500 to 600 gram point. Because sizes are sorted by weight, some points are tall and slim while others are short and chunky. Black tourmaline is one of the most popular crystals for entryways and home offices, and this is an affordable way to add one.
Tourmaline is a large group of boron silicate minerals with a Mohs hardness of 7 to 7.5. Schorl, the black variety, is the most common tourmaline. Here it is mixed with feldspar, which appears as lighter patches within the black.
Stone Meaning: Black tourmaline is traditionally associated with grounding and protection.
Does it stand up? Yes, it has a flat cut base.
What are the lighter patches? Feldspar mixed in with the black tourmaline.
How big is each weight? Size varies with shape: some pieces are tall and slim, others short and wide.
