About 15 million years ago, a meteorite struck southern Germany, and the heat melted rock into the forest green glass we call moldavite. Each of these pendants sets a natural piece in sterling silver.

About Moldavite

Moldavite is a tektite, a natural silica glass formed by the meteorite impact at the Ries crater in southern Germany about 15 million years ago. Most finds come from southern Bohemia in the Czech Republic. It is forest green to olive and has a hardness of 5.5 to 7.

Stone Meaning: Moldavite is traditionally associated with transformation.
