Light purple lepidolite and shimmering mica set in natural quartz make up this cluster, and it is large enough to anchor a room.
The lepidolite points are semi polished, so the lilac shades show clearly while the rest keeps its natural, raw texture. Mica flakes flash as the light changes through the day. A piece this size holds a room on its own: try it on a coffee table, a hallway console or a wide windowsill. Give it to a lepidolite fan who is ready for a large specimen instead of tumbled stones.
Lepidolite is a lithium bearing mica, the most abundant lithium mineral on Earth, and its lilac to pink purple color comes from trace manganese. It forms in pegmatites and high temperature quartz veins, which is why it so often appears intergrown with quartz, feldspar and tourmaline. Like other micas it splits into thin flakes, which give it its shimmer.
Stone Meaning: Lepidolite is traditionally associated with calm and transition.
