About Lemurian Tangerine Quartz

Lemurian quartz is identified by horizontal growth striations on alternating prism faces. It was first marketed in the late 1990s from Serra do Cabral in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and Brazilian specimens can carry tangerine colored iron oxide coatings, such as hematite.
