Set this citrine cave where light can reach inside, and the golden crystal does the rest.
This citrine cathedral was cut from a natural amethyst geode that was heat treated to its warm orange, and it is sold as exactly that: golden amethyst, not natural citrine. The base and front are cut flat, so it sits squarely and presents the crystal cave straight on, and it is wider than it is tall, which gives it a broad, open mouth. At this size it carries a room on its own, on a sideboard, a reception desk or a low bookcase.
Citrine is yellow to orange quartz. Naturally colored citrine is uncommon, and most citrine clusters on the market are amethyst that has been heat treated to turn golden, much of it from Brazil. It is hard and durable, and it is a November birthstone.
Stone Meaning: Citrine is traditionally associated with optimism and abundance.
