This natural amethyst cluster is built wide and low, and it comes already sitting on a wooden base.

The cluster is about 8 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall, broader than it is high, so it sits low and solid and lets you look down into the points. It was hand selected from rough material and hand cut, and the photos show the back, a close up of the crystals and a side view for thickness. That low, wide shape is well suited to a coffee table, a desk or a dresser top. This is the exact amethyst cluster shown.

About Amethyst

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. Its color comes from trace iron exposed to natural radiation, and it is the modern birthstone for February. Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Zambia are among the largest producers.
