A chunk of raw citrine in warm golden to orange tones, with natural crystal points and rough edges. Each piece is chosen at random from our stock, and sizes vary; see the photo with a ruler for scale.
This citrine is heat treated amethyst, sometimes called golden amethyst, which is how most citrine on the market gets its color. Set it on a desk or windowsill, add it to a crystal grid, or use it as an affordable gift and party favor. Larger quantities are available in our flat box selection.
Citrine is yellow to orange quartz with a Mohs hardness of 7. Natural citrine color is rare, and most citrine sold today is heat treated light amethyst, much of it from Brazil.
Stone Meaning: Citrine is traditionally associated with warmth and optimism.
