Royal blue sodalite with white veins is shaped into a slim pencil point with a tip at each end. Each point measures about 8 by 34 millimeters to 10 by 38 millimeters.
Double terminated points come to a tip at both ends, so they look balanced lying flat and work from either end in a crystal grid. Wire wrap one into a pendant, set several around a grid, or add them to a collection. Choose 1, 5 or 10; larger packs lower the price per point.
Sodalite is a little softer than quartz, so store the points apart from harder stones. Many specimens glow orange under UV light. Each point varies slightly in size and veining.
Sodalite is a royal blue mineral, commonly veined with white, with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6. Many specimens fluoresce orange under UV light.
Stone Meaning: Sodalite is traditionally associated with communication and calm thinking.
