Opal and Resin Turtle - Pick Your Exact Piece, Large 8.75 Inch

Turtle lovers, this one is a showstopper. Each large turtle has a clear resin shell packed with small pieces of opal, many flashing that signature play of color.

It makes eye catching decor for a coffee table, a beach house or an office desk, and a meaningful gift for someone who loves turtles or the ocean. Turtles are a long standing symbol of patience and long life, which adds a thoughtful layer to the gift.

Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Turtles are about 8.75 by 5.75 by 2.75 inches and weigh about 700 to 725 grams. The opal pieces are set in clear resin; the body is black resin with glittery eyes.

About Opal

Opal is hydrous silica, a mineraloid with a hardness of 5 to 6. Its play of color comes from tiny silica spheres that diffract light. Here, small opal pieces are set in clear resin, a man made material that protects them.

Symbolism: Turtles are traditionally associated with patience and long life.
