Halloween decor gets a crystal twist with these small spiders, each built from a tumbled stone body and gold toned metal legs.

You choose the body stone: amethyst, black tourmaline, green aventurine, opalite, rose quartz or red jasper. Each spider is about the size of a black widow, so it reads as a real spider at a glance when tucked into a wreath, a bookshelf, a mantel display or a witchy altar. They are also handy for crafts, since one or several add a stylish accent to a larger project. Opalite is man made glass rather than a natural stone, and the legs are glued to the stone body. They make a fun gift year round for anyone who loves spooky style. The photos are stock photos, and each spider varies a little in size, color and markings, so yours will be similar.

Each spider is about 2.25 by 2 by 1 inches and weighs about 15 grams.

About the Stone Options

Amethyst and rose quartz are colored varieties of quartz, and green aventurine is a quartz rock that gets its green shimmer from fuchsite mica. Red jasper is opaque silica colored by iron, black tourmaline is schorl, the most common tourmaline, and opalite is a trade name for man made opalescent glass.
