Rounded, bubble-like formations cover this raw lepidolite in soft lilac, and tiny mica flakes make the surface shimmer. This botryoidal form is less common than flat lepidolite and is prized by collectors for its texture.
Choose under 50 grams, 50 to 100 grams or 100 to 150 grams. Display it on a shelf, desk or crystal altar, or give it to someone who loves purple stones. Lepidolite is soft and flaky, so handle it gently and dust it with a soft brush.
Lepidolite is a lithium-bearing mica and the most abundant lithium mineral. Its lilac to pink color comes from trace manganese. Like other micas it is soft, rated 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, and can flake.
Stone Meaning: Lepidolite is traditionally associated with calm and emotional balance.
