Swirls of blue apatite mingle with brown and white jasper in this polished point, giving it a bold, hypnotic pattern. Each one is unique, and some show natural inclusions.
Choose 50 to 100 grams, 100 to 200 grams or 200 to 300 grams; heavier points are larger. Display it on a desk, shelf or meditation table, or give it to a collector who likes unusual stone combinations. Apatite is softer than quartz, so keep it away from harder crystals.
Apatite is a group of phosphate minerals that defines 5 on the Mohs hardness scale; its name comes from the Greek for 'to deceive' because it was often mistaken for other gems. Jasper is an opaque, fine-grained form of silica rated 6.5 to 7.
Stone Meaning: Apatite is traditionally associated with motivation and creativity.
