Amethyst Crystal Portal Geode Slab with Raw Edges - Pick Your Exact Piece

A mantel or shelf that needs a focal point is where one of these four amethyst portals belongs.

These portals are cut slices of amethyst geode, and the edges are left as raw stone straight from the earth, so the outer rind frames the crystal inside. All four are about 2 inches thick. Number 1 is the most compact at about 10 by 7 inches. Numbers 2, 3 and 4 are larger, between 11 and 11.5 inches on the long side and 9 to 10 inches across, with number 3 the broadest. Pieces this size suit a mantel, a bookshelf, an altar or a sacred space, and they give a crystal collection a centerpiece. Amethyst is the February birthstone, and a portal makes a generous housewarming or anniversary gift. You choose the exact piece from the photos.

The photos show the portals together, and the one you choose is the one you receive. Sizes run from about 10 by 7 by 2 inches (number 1) to about 11.5 by 10 by 2 inches (number 3).

About Amethyst Geodes

A geode is a hollow rock lined with crystals, formed as mineral rich groundwater slowly deposits minerals inside a cavity. Amethyst geodes are lined with purple quartz, colored by trace iron and natural radiation, and many commercial geodes come from Brazil and Uruguay.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
