Platinum Titanium Raw Chalcedony Rose Bead - Top Drilled

A raw chalcedony formation with layered, petal-like edges, coated in a metallic platinum titanium finish and drilled at the top center so it hangs. Each piece measures about 28 to 40 millimeters by 30 to 55 millimeters.

Hang it on a chain or cord as a statement pendant, wire wrap it, or use it as an accent in decor. One photo shows a piece hanging on a necklace chain.

The platinum color is a thin surface coating, so avoid rubbing, perfume and harsh cleaners, and store it separately. Each piece is a natural formation, so shape and size vary. Chain not included.

About Titanium Coated Chalcedony

Chalcedony is microcrystalline quartz. Titanium and platinum finishes are added by vapor deposition, which bonds a metal film only a micron or two thick to the stone and gives it a metallic shine. Because it is a surface coating, it lasts longest when protected from abrasion.
