Look closely and you can see the long, cone-shaped shell of an ancient sea creature. Orthoceras was a straight-shelled cephalopod, a distant relative of today's squid and nautilus, and these small teardrops show its pale fossil set in dark limestone.
Each piece is carved and polished into a teardrop, which makes it an easy fit for pendant settings, wire wrapping or a fossil collection. The three weight options let you choose a petite piece for jewelry or a slightly larger one for display.
