Small Amethyst Stalactite Slices - Assorted Colors

Each small stalactite slice, about 11 to 26 millimeters by 15 to 25 millimeters, is cut across the stalactite to show its growth rings, in assorted colors.

Wire wrap one into a pendant, set it in a ring or bezel, use several in a crystal grid, or glue them onto drawer knobs for a one-of-a-kind touch. They were hand cut and polished in Brazil.

We pick one at random; if you have a size or shape preference, leave a note and we will try to match it. Each slice is unique in color, size and pattern; the hand photo shows the scale.

About Amethyst Stalactite

Amethyst stalactites form inside geodes in volcanic basalt as mineral-rich water drips and deposits layer after layer. Slicing one shows rings of chalcedony and amethyst around the core, much like tree rings.
