Rutilated Smoky Quartz Lodolite Heart, Cut Base - One of a Kind, 4.4 In

This heart hides a whole little landscape, and you only need to look closely to see it.

It is smoky quartz lodolite, also called lodalite or garden quartz, with fine rutile needles running through it, so you get scenic mineral inclusions and golden threads in a single stone. It was carved and polished by crystal artisans from Brazil into a full, rounded heart with a flat base, so it stands upright on any flat surface instead of rolling. At about 4.4 inches across and 0.845 kilograms, it is a substantial heart that fills the hand and looks at home on a desk, a bedside table or a shelf. Every lodolite is different inside, which is part of the appeal. It makes a heartfelt anniversary, Valentine's Day or birthday gift. This is the exact heart shown.

The heart is about 4.375 by 3.375 by 3 inches and weighs about 0.845 kilograms.

About Rutilated Smoky Lodolite

Lodolite is quartz with mineral inclusions that resemble landscapes or gardens, also called garden quartz or scenic quartz; its main source is Minas Gerais, Brazil. Rutilated quartz contains needle shaped rutile inclusions that usually look golden. Smoky quartz gets its brown color when natural radiation activates color centers around trace aluminum.

Stone Meaning: Lodolite is traditionally associated with reflection and inner journeys.
