There is something satisfying about stirring sugar into your coffee with a spoon that has a piece of raw emerald for a handle.
Each spoon is steel, made by Tramontina, attached to a raw emerald handle with bright flashes of green and black and a raw polish feel. The two spoons are near twins in size, so choose by the handle and the green pattern you like best. One makes a small treat for a tea or coffee drinker, and ordering both gives you a pair.
Emerald is the green variety of beryl, colored by chromium or vanadium. Natural fractures are common, so it is less tough than its hardness suggests. Nearly all natural emerald contains visible inclusions, which gem traders call the garden, and it is the birthstone for May.
Stone Meaning: Emerald is traditionally associated with love and hope.
