Labradorite is carved into a merkaba, or star tetrahedron, in this pendant, about 1.125 to 1.5 inches across and 5 grams, with a silver bail. Many pieces flash blue and yellow as they turn.
Wear it on a chain, use it as the focal point of a beaded necklace, or give it to someone who loves sacred geometry.
Labradorite can chip if knocked, so store it on its own. Each pendant varies in color, flash and size. Chain not included.
The merkaba star is a star tetrahedron: two interlocking tetrahedrons. The name comes from merkabah, Hebrew for chariot, which also names an early tradition of Jewish mysticism. Labradorite's flash, called labradorescence, comes from light reflecting off layers inside the stone.
Stone Meaning: Labradorite is traditionally associated with intuition and protection.
