A star is a cheerful shape, and these natural agate stars add a pocket of sparkling druzy for extra shine. Some are pure chalcedony and some show agate banding.
Use one on an altar, a holiday mantel or a cozy reading nook, or give it to someone who always reaches for the stars. It makes a sweet congratulations gift for a graduation, a new job or a big win.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Stars are about 4.1 by 3.75 inches and 1.4 to 1.5 inches thick, carved as solid blocks and polished to a bright shine.
Agate is banded microcrystalline quartz that forms in layers inside rock cavities. When the final layer grows into tiny sparkling crystals, it is called druzy. Agate has a hardness of 7 and takes a high polish.
Symbolism: The star is traditionally associated with hope and guidance.
