This crescent shaped agate from Brazil is drilled at both ends, so it works as a connector between chains or as a curved pendant. Each moon measures about 40 by 15 to 16 millimeters.

Choose blue, teal, pink, black, orange, green or natural. Link it into a necklace or bracelet, hang charms from it, or wire wrap it into celestial earrings and pendants. Buying several colors makes a fun moon collection.

About Agate

Agate is a translucent, banded variety of microcrystalline quartz, rated 7 on the Mohs scale. Its bands form as silica is deposited layer by layer inside a rock cavity. Agate is slightly porous, so it takes dye well, which is how most vividly colored agate carvings and decor pieces in the trade are made.
