These large grape agate clusters are covered in purple botryoidal spheres and have presence on any shelf.
Make one the focal point of a mineral cabinet, bookshelf or office, or give it to a collector who wants a substantial specimen. Some show touches of green celadonite or white calcite among the purple, and the photos let you compare each one.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Clusters are about 4 to 5.5 inches long, and each size is listed below.
Grape agate is botryoidal chalcedony, colored purple by trace iron, from the Batu Manakarra district of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Botryoidal comes from the Greek for a bunch of grapes. It is not true agate, since it lacks banding. In these pieces, green areas are celadonite and white areas are magnesium rich calcite.
Stone Meaning: Grape agate is traditionally associated with calm and confidence.
