Clusters of tiny purple spheres cover the surface of grape agate, and semi polishing these pieces leaves that bubbly texture intact while smoothing the edges.
Set one on a desk, shelf or windowsill out of direct sun, add it to a mineral collection, or give it to someone who loves purple stones and unusual textures. Each piece shows a different arrangement of grapes, and you can choose the one you like from the photos.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Pieces are about 2 to 2.5 inches across, and each size is listed below.
Grape agate is botryoidal chalcedony, more precisely amethystine botryoidal chalcedony, from the Batu Manakarra district of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Botryoidal comes from the Greek for a bunch of grapes. Colors range from deep purple to lavender and greenish blue.
Stone Meaning: Grape agate is traditionally associated with calm and confidence.
