Each grape agate specimen is a cluster of round purple chalcedony bubbles, a natural formation that rewards a close look.
Every number is a different piece, so look through the photos and choose the one you like best. The piece you select is the exact one we ship. Some clusters show green celadonite or white magnesio calcite alongside the purple, which adds even more variety to choose from.
Clusters range from about 1 to 2.5 inches long. See the size chart below for each number.
Grape agate is botryoidal chalcedony, meaning it forms in grape like clusters. It comes from the Batu Manakarra mining district of Sulawesi, Indonesia, in shades of purple, lavender and greenish blue.
Stone Meaning: Grape agate is traditionally associated with calm and confidence.
